...and just think, “yeah, that would look pretty good slammed.”
In other news, I saw a GLA250 today. I look forward to these being dirt cheap in 10 years so stance kids can afford them.

Tiguans would look fantastic slammed. So would CX-5s

Really, any car that’s got ground clearance for no reason.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 12:59 |

But a slammed GLA would just be a slightly heavier A class. But yeah, it does look good with lower/ normal height suspension.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 12:59 |

Nah, fuck that bagged look. The regular GLA45 AMG ride height is much better.
(Disclaimer: I really want a GLA45 with the AMG Dynamic Plus package that adds a front LSD, active suspension, and RACE MODE.)

that’s how I feel about macans.
a nice drop on some bags and it’s a sexy ass wagon
![]() 11/06/2018 at 13:06 |

I do like the stock ride height. But to my eyes, the aesthetic of the slammed one is better (I know it would ride like garbage)

As someone super biased and whose income is dependent on this, everything looks better bagged.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 13:10 |

S lammed looks broken. If that ride height is static, it is broken. If it’s bagged, they’re not driving it like that anyway.
Here is a properly lowered c ar that I just so happen to own.

S
omehow, I have never seen anything quite like that.

Going to drive a Hyundai Kona Limited today, which will be a deciding test drive... If I end up with the Jeep I will be purchasing the Madness lowering springs.

Needs more negative camber

Slam all the Porsches
![]() 11/06/2018 at 13:31 |
|
Ah, look. You’ve taken a dumb crossover and turned it into a decent looking hatchback.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 13:40 |
|
But then people would realize that their crossovers are just tall hatchbacks! Think of the depreciation!

CRV goes from Crossover straight to Wagon.

I’m never going to slam mine but
I’m also thinking about getting lowering springs for the 328i xdrive. But that will be in the spring when I get new rubber.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 13:47 |

So that would just be an A 45 AMG.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 13:47 |

But they won’t sell those in the US

I’ve already decided that when I get a real car, since the amount I would get on trade in for it would be so little, I am going to lower and widebody my mk3.

Why the heck not. My real dream is to build a Bosozoku 77 Thunderbird

I wanted the AMG soooooo bad. Settled for the Standard GLA. I hated it and myself everyday for 2 years and 4 months. I bit the bullet and turned in the lease early. Second happiest day in my life. The AMG was almsot perfect in every way. Every time I had to dri ve a customer’s, I cried a little.

I saw a lowered X1 that looked sweet
![]() 11/06/2018 at 14:49 |

Too far.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 15:21 |

You can’t tell from the angle of the pic but there’s -2.25 in back and -1.25 in front. I used to have more in front but it chewed up the inside edges of the tires.
Excessive negative camber on a street car is dumb.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 15:24 |

Someone on Oppositeock once said something along the lines of “why do I think crossovers look so good lowered and sports cars look so cool on big tires”. It’s something I agree with; lower all the crossovers.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 15:32 |

Ill be honest, i want to to stance an old German car at some point. Basically all stock, slammed on nice rims, then revel in the glory as it sits in your yard constantly broken
![]() 11/06/2018 at 15:44 |
|
Slam the crossovers. Donk the sports
cars.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 15:45 |

Needs at least-10 and -5, with stretched tires.
You’re right though. I like stance- on a trailer. If you drive a hellaflush anything on the street, you’re a fool.

I saw one once! I though it looked like a clownshoe the day after thanksgiving.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 16:02 |

Haha maybe thats why I liked it so much considering a clownshoe is my daily

Its not brown diesel or a miata though haha

Wait a sec, I scrolled through your posts, what cars do you have in your stable apart from the Z3 coupe?
![]() 11/06/2018 at 16:09 |
|
Actually, the Z3 is the best Miata.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 16:15 |
|
Just the E34 530i. Its got a nasty clunk going on in the rear end that needs addressed with some new bushings though so shes parked at the moment. Also, about the Z3 being the best miata, dont tell reddit. Started a huge shitstorm there today saying a Z3 was a better car and purchase than an NC or an S2000 lol

You ever do anything to the bumper/quarter after the hit?
![]() 11/06/2018 at 16:42 |
|
Hard agree. Also, what’s up with the two-tone paint literally every single one has? I always double take because I think it’s new and the dealer never pulled the plastic off the top. Does look cool, though.
![]() 11/06/2018 at 16:43 |

Not yet as it was all cosmetic and I haven’t had the money. I almost bought a matching color bumper but the parts car got sold as a whole. Whoever hit me really screwed me good
